Blefaroylasty:
Blefaroplasty removes excess skin and fat from the upper and lower eyelids.
Buggy and tired looking eyelids can be reconstructed under local anaesthesia
and no hospitalization. Recovery time is of 4 to 5 days. For minor cases with
out severe skin chalasis transconjactival blefaroplasty combined with laser
peeling gives very good results.
Face Lifting: For
cases with facial skin loosening, with jowls and malar fat ptosis, rhytidoplasty
or face lifting restores youthful appearance of the face. Extensive undermining
of the skin and the underlying structures can be done under sedation or general
anaesthesia. Scars are almost totally hided in the hair bearing skin. Patient
has to stay in the hospital for one night. Recovery period is short but for
social events a three weeks period is necessary. In some cases face lifting
is combined with laser resurfacing in order to enhance skin texture quality,
which is not affected by the lifting alone.
Soft Tissue Augmentation: A lot of biologic
and synthetic filling materials are in use for soft tissue augmentation. Facial
wrinkles, skin depressions, thin lips can be corrected by injecting these materials.
Autologous fat, collagen, hyalouronic acid, teflon and others plastics, solid
silicone implants are used. The indications, restrictions, possible side effects
and the duration of the expected results should be discussed with your Doctor.
Like laser peeling soft tissue augmentation can be combined with face lifting
in order to enhance its results.
